These classes are design for more advanced athletes who have developed a sound physical foundation. Sports Performance sessions focus more on teaching the skills and techniques needed to support more advnaced sport training. Athletes will work on improving their strength, power, and skilled movement in a way that facilitates athletic performance.
With this training you will increase your ability to train in your sport, allowing you to learn faster and learn more, also increasing your confidence. This ultimately results in athletes having more fun in their sport and higher performance levels.
Sports Performance classes are generally for athletes 10-18, but participation is determined by where students are in the long-term physical development. If your athlete has not built a strong foundation like we develop in the Youth Fitness classes, then the Sport Performance classes will lose effectiveness and may result in injury.
POWER+ is Five-star Sports' physical development program geared toward youth in sport. Our program helps youth of all ages and abilities unleash their true potential as athletes and healthy individuals.
More than just fitness, POWER+ is a training program designed to support sport-specific skills to enhance athlete development, give athletes a higher resistance to sport related injury, and promote long term physical and mental health.
